The anscient hindu text is an old thing that can still be used a lot as a very simple life guidance.Long life in Israel and also 1 full year in India too taught me that this simple approach to some texts as THE main life rule is a very normal thing in the lands, much practised accordingly. It deals with life situations, which arent well under ones own control and explains ways one must follow to pass them through with some success. The author/authors of this text had been participating in the ravaging then India(the after the Alexander the Great invasion turmoil in India times)very rough civil war that smashed dead most of indian lives during that ''after the Alexander invasion'' era.To my OWN understanding of the story(who else would be AS good in such details if not a victorious survivor of that war?)some most likely leaders of the Chandragupta's partisan movement army that had survived the civil war up to its victorious to Chandragupta end had in fact created this up to this day very well known for its practicality text, and the fact that it had been produced in the known to only highly educated people then sanskrit language tells us that its author was inside the highest rank of the society of those days, most likely from inside the controlling of those days' event group of people,my OWN guess being one of the Chandragupta's army smaller military commanders that managed to survive the war unharmed and later turned to teaching people around as up to this day older religious people of distinction do in India. To start with its preliminary idea, which can be seen in its first verse and by which readers(we must admit it)mostly take books as "stupid","worthless" or "nice".It reads(if you can descifer sanskrit and i can as i DID study it)so:"Do what you ever and always did and never go anywhere else/do anything else whatever happens to you"(dharmakshetre kurukshetre...).The rule is INcorrectly translated by hinduism as the protection of caste life,as it IS translated by religious traditionally anyway, while in reality it is THIS very simple and practical rule of the sort i explained just above,no religion/ideas whatsoever involved.Supporting mostly our precious nervous system(this IS what the Gita authors would call God if they were around nowadays),only care about your nervous cells and their dying off leaving you less a human being than you had JUST been an hour ago!For AS long as i had been living in the extensively religious countries(1 full year approximately in Kolkata India and 25 years in 1 of its closest world allies Israel too TRADITION and preferrably NO CHANGES to it/life in general were 1 of the most important subjects of normal daily life in the both countries;this interesting life's outcome comes to you naturally as you start living there. The thing you never ever want your head to be is when it suddenly starts accessing new to it truths during its heavy life situations, this thing to happen to you is potentially very dangerous as it makes the brain, your real treasure(nervous cells this most basic element of your brains)overactive in search of a way out of A SINGLE life SITUATION,a potentially very destructive path for EVERY brain, because to turn to things new and unexplained is something, too demanding from each brain, stuff that can potentially dangerously overexert even stronger brains and do you have strong brains yourself? To put this simply for understanding,as you are busy with normal daily activities your brain's machine drives with its normal speed of say 60 kmtr per 1 hour and as you start suddenly to estimate things new/unsheduled and so VERY much overexering your nervous cells ones, this car of your brain cells is already making not 60 kmtr per hour but 150 kmtr, and if you just started to get angry/scandalous,the speed of this intellectual car you CAN control if wishing is already 300 kmtr per hour, and we all know just HOW dangerous can be a car that drives with this speed through a nice perfectly detailed/made up a city of one's internal composure and richness.Cars are never allowed to speed for more than 60 kmtr per hour in ANY nice city premises;thats the rule just to avoid the resulting BREAKDOWNS OF FURNITURE your precious brain does hold inside of it at any given moment in time.Just AS serious amounts of internal damage can a 300 kmtr speeding car do inside of a brilliant precious old city do as your overexagerrated and so potentially ruinous nervous action can possibly do to your poor brain. This is no stupid joke at all but a very serious suggestion;EACH person that gets angry over the limit must know that if he accounts for the number of his nervous cells BEFORE and AFTER a serious nervous breakdown he had just been through, the amount of his nervous cells is already somewhat like half a single percent smaller by nember than what it was before the breakdown we discuss here. The very simple lesson here is to avoid AT ALL COSTS any overaction/nervous conditions we might be having because of any VERY stupid reasons indeed;EACH of nervous breakdowns you come through are just like another battle for an army-even IF winning a battle(and DO we win it anyway?)this army is undoubtedly smaller in size after this battle!Such are the rules of engagement upon the BATTLEFIELD of our lives-to get ANYthing via the resources of your nervous system always means to also LOSE at least partially a part of this army of yours, and here i mean the army that YES is responsible for most EVERY sungle decision you make daily-the army of your brain's nervous cells;you must know that each thing you TAKE OUT OF your BRAIN as managing a specific action/future improvement in your life in fact leaves your brain smaller by size an army that had just passed a small military engagement with the resulting losses to the soldiers of this army as well;this thing DOES exist and if managed incorrectly, with time it simply speaking leaves us human beings around with smaller and so more childlike brains which already CANNOT perform thinking functions correctly, the way they had been thinking once some time before.Because check people that are inflaxing in numbers the held by the society nursing homes for elderly people-what EXACTLY is different for them from what we here are having normally?Their most basic physiological functions are ALL in perfect order;yet they ARE in those nursing homes;in MOST cases those currently completely under control of others people simply have their BRAINS BURNED OUT by their former intellectual tasks they had been BELIEVING(was it correct anyways?)needed taken care of;they pay their price now for the overexertion of brains they once commited;and whenever do i pass such nursing homes with elderly INTELLECTUAL INVALIDS i always get reminded to NEVER overindulge my precious brains in WHATEVER do others believe necessary!THEY may had commited the mistakes;I do NOT have to do this myself!1 without sufficient care and use of correct TECHNOLOGY OF simple LIFE will never be a successful in life individual! And now say that our predecessors did NOT hold the real truths we ALL lack nowadays!Things THAT basic and THAT influential we never seem to notice nowadays, actively overbusy with minute life tasks we ''need'' to follow. The potential LOSS OF BRAIN CELLS we'd be having if considering things overly new and so dangerous to us is JUST the simple explanation to the question of:''Why are we never told about this or that?'',and DO agree with me that the things we never hear even as NEEDING TO,all DO exist in numbers even as completely unannounced around-why would we be wasting off our brains with thinking about badly influencuing them subjects? And the Bhagavad Gita text is teaching us this very simple truth in detail and with realistic explanations along the way,not THAT realistic as the contemporary medicine can offer(of nervous cells dying out i mean, these are only good for people that think scientifically, and such arent numerous nowadays),yet strong enough still, especially for the days of yore, when no serious study of nervous activities ever existed. This MAIN lesson of the Gita as I personally take it(of leaving dangerous thinking and estimations off the scene at ANY given moment)is certainly not the only 1,yet its importance is paramount and thats just why this lesson is given in the very first verse of the text(''dharmakshetre kurukshetre...''this very start of the Gita meaning ''do THIS only,no changes please'')-the very first verse of EACH of famous sanskrit texts is JUST the simplest way to estimate its tendencies and main tasks-to check the starting verse or part of any of given famous sanskrit texts to see what EXACTLY awaits you after reading it thoroughly. The Gita's main lesson in this way is simply to kill off ANY obstacles of the possible destruction of our brains.More lessons on the way as you study the text thoroughly,THIS 1 still remains the main 1.What happens when any electric charge is suddenly lost in your apartment is generally some very radical spike of electric charge that had been just passing through a very small path of the electric paths to convey those, circulating inside your place, when the minimal size of the road the current is passing through averagely is suddenly unable to withstand the power of the current and breaks down completely, taking off the scene your already dead brain cells(JUST the way electric power is lost in your place at night sometimes). This model situation is EXACTLY what happens when you think intensively about complicated details your brain never worked with A LOT/extensively.Or else when accessing new complicated variations of behaviour during a hard life situation, which ITSELF takes all the capacities your brain might produce up to their highest level. The practical point here is to never have TOO much electric charge pass your nervous cells,or in simple words telling this,to never think seriously during heavy life situations to avoid the definite overheating of your nervous ways as a result.Like a large animal inside a small weak cage, any extensively thought over a single topic inside of your brain can damage and destroy the cage in which it keeps living-your never replaced with new structures brain, because our contemporary science(i had been reading scientific books once)tells us that once dying off human brain cells are NOT able to regenerate or be replaced with new brain cells.Brain cells are either of the same number as you were born with(if your life is too peaceful)or else gradually and constantly dying off leaving you less intelligent and able to consider things thoroughly.Like first you were a human being as a kid, then with nervous cells dying off you become already a small kid, then as it goes on you already become a dog or a pig-THAT much can dangerous situation injure your brain(dying off of the nervous cells leaves you less intelligent). The method Gita teaches us about strikes exactly at this possibility of nervous centres damage by cooling you down to bad things you might be considering seriously when ALL you need is simply going on with your simple life during a complicated life situation.Heavy thinking and considerations during such hard times are destined to overheat your brain, leaving it less and less capable of wise action as a result.THIS is the aim of Gita's teachings-to take the overheating, too dangerous to these brains, off them altogether-a VERY noble aim indeed.Unlike every other type of human body cells, brain cells are NOT able to regenerate and when dead(this is the data from scientific neurology books),your brain just remains with less of those forever, mind capacities reducing accordingly, never to increase again. This particular hinduism text the Gita teaches us just how to avoid this destruction resulting from incorrect brain use, because nowadays incorrect and destructive use of one's brain is a very dangerous thing that CAN crush your mind.Did you ever think just what happened to all those patients of psychiatric hospitals around? They are under 'special social care' because once their brains failed to work with life realities accordingly,in particular they had been OVERHEATED by thinking,in this way losing capacities to perform the management of life work completely. And if you do not allow your brains to EVER get overheated/too attached to any occupation, whatever exactly is it,then your brain will never crash(just what happened to those psychiatric hospitals' patients-their electric brain currents had been OVERactive at a point of time, crushing dead the paths they had been passing through),just what happens as your apartment falls into darkness as an electric current's spike hits its normal path with 5 fold higher energy charge. The darkness ensuing being the mental condition of those psychiatric hospitals' patients-their brains are damaged and cannot already ''show the apartment with light''!All they did to get this was thinking extensively over details of life when those were exclusively hard around them at that particular life moment. The lesson put roughly is simply FLOW WITH THE WAVES that take you down the river of life, whatever they are, never attempting to either fight the waves, nor else to introduce your own 'solution of problems' of a sort.Just the real sense of the most principal Gita teachings explained. Those who leave the flow of normal activities for whatever is it they are searching for will face the rage and crashing power of the main river flow, the thing very much able to inflict those damaging to your brain results.Just the main lesson of the text, visible upon its cover/in its first verse(checked,it exists in most sanskrit texts),is generally the most useful and practical example of what exactly this exact text is dealing with,by which the practical use of each of the classical hindu texts is easily recognizable. The hindu texts are managed in that way as to give us the taste of their general teachings as we read their first verses,i studied some texts and DO find this completely true for most of them.Another significant verse is "shreyan svadharmo vigunah paradharmat svanushthitat",which tells us the very similar lesson of never changing the main occupation we follow currently into a new one. This teaching is very strong a rule in India even nowadays, when a specific caste or profession always keeps to its present activities, stubborn and unwilling to make about any changes. The meaning of the just mentioned text is that best to do what you always and ever did, avoiding things new, distant to your current occupations and lifestyle.Like if you even do new things ALL too perfectly,it still is better to relinquisn those new things in order to return to things you had been doing for ALL too long previously. This text,''shreyan svadharmo vigunah...''is the only 1 inside the entire Gita that IS repeated in it twice with no changes,a very definite hint that THIS lesson is about the main in the entire text, and similar texts ALL exist as short very general life rules,by following which 1 is certain to achieve perfection in his day-to-day life.Numerous religious people in both India and Israel are the proof to the fact that the texts ARE indeed not just a whim of some half crazy author, but potentially very much comforting one's life sets of main life rules.Israeli life witnesses a substantial number of followers of the local judaism religion, which, even as behaving too originally and NOT like the main population at all, still enjoy much higher cash donations from the government, which believes that this interestingly higher amount of their pensions(religious are almost never work in Israel)IS a recommendable thing to do.Even as not dealing with such details personally,i do know that what they get from the government is much larger sums of cash than what an average non working citizen gets. The texts of judaism are similar to hinduism ones, yet the science inside the 2 religions IS somewhat different, and even after living in Israel for WELL over 20 years i still find judaism to be of a much lesser importance and influence than hinduism is,and the 2 teachings ARE much different even as looking similar from the outside.Let us roughly put the difference between these 2 as the object of desire they pursue. In hinduism this object(devoid of complicated religious terms they want you to take up)is mostly of material nature, while in judaism the percieved largest gift and desire already is completely intellectual or mental developement. All the explanations to the 2 religions are obscuring from you THIS main lesson i explain, that hinduism is mostly to gain material gains, while judaism aims mostly at things, intellectual and mental,no physical body connected goals attached, even as the standard judaism DOES lead you to a much better health even as no health care whatsoever. For AS long as i lived in Israel, and this is TOO much to count,i almost never saw any fat religious people.Almost ALL of them are instead very thin and emaciated i'd say.Obviously their forefathers DID manage to introduce into the science things that DO take care of the health as well.Like whatever did you always do,keep doing it on-THIS way wont bring you complications none wants(you the first and the most)and the WORST part to ever await you is as simple as this crush and death of your precious nervous cells. Its last quarter(Gita is just as brilliant stone reminding as the Vedas themselves)is repeated TWICE in the text, which is a complete record, when no other verse is repeated twice. The simple understanding of the lesson taught is just to never change anything in life into a new radically different direction and to keep doing whatever was it you always did before5,the only twice repeated in Gita verse tells us this idea. Its sense is "Never do anything but what you do now and reject all things you never did before".The sense here is clear as nervous cells definitely suffer with new situations to which they accordingly need to produce new approaches, which tire the brain cells immensely(and did you notice that your brain never tires of very same traditional to you activities?),and all of the society practise never allows us ANY deviation from the life rounds we follow currently. It also is THE explanation of why exactly do we never see in media sources the data that can potentially radically improve our lives(it DOES exist, but we have to search for it ourselves)-such completely new data IS overheating your brain with its cells tiring and dying off as the result looming down.Thats just how REAL Gita is(its noisy stupid followers always telling us otherwise),it is nothing but a set of exclusively simple rules for a very successful life with no complicated terms attached to it whatsoever. The main stuff is just like NO KILLING NO STEALING etc hebrew stuff, just a little more complicated and suffisticated;judaist texts avoiding proficiency in ANY field, believing that any proficiency is in fact a sign of weakness and incorrectness 1 would better avoid for better results.According to my own personal judgement, the text was written by a victorious survivor of the all - India civil war that ravaged the subcontinent directly after the invasion Alexander the Great of Macedonia made into India itself, who then by his life end adapted hinduism(a TOO practical man for it as he was a field military commander of the rebel army that conquered the entire kingdom right after Alexander the Great left India westwards)and became(as just most any religious leader does even nowadays)a religious leader after this with successful public work over the Gita's holy text and numerous audience, listening to him daily the way religious leaders enjoy even nowadays.Basically this text(i was studying it in its original sanskrit form once)is recommending the way one must behave during a hard life situation(what indians never have and try to avoid by any means otherwise even now)and the way it shows to do it is simply speaking:"simply keep flowing with the main river stream,in which you find yourself currently with no large changes to ANY of your surroundings".The situation,in which indians found themselves with the invasuion of Alexander the Great never was, never is never will be normal in the tradition loving country India is,and its conclusions as to what one should do in such extreme life situations so is a very correct unmistakeable one.Best outcomes/ways out of hard life situations can give you people that most never experience them while constantly observing those from aside, inhabitants of India had them once only and gave them a very substantial thought afterwards, and thats just what happened in those years of the invasion of Alexander into India.Indians never want any radical life or activities(myself lived long enough in Israel,a country that reminds India in so many respects, and know it well),so whichever recommendations fall out of this time period are a very useful lesson to learn.Myself was living for too long in India's best friend country(except for US sure)Israel and do know the power tendencies in those "holy lands"(both created holy texts in remote to us pasts).New/original stuff is directly opposite to the spots' tradition and culture and such a tremendous new thing as a large foreighn invasion is almost never "touching" those countries for 1 reason or the other as the result.2)Mantra 3.9"yajnaarthat karmano 'nyatra loko'yam karmabandhanat".Here passive doing of traditional stuff 1 ever and each day does that doesnt engulf the mind in any way is suggested,a very similar lesson indeed.Action that is recommended here is devoid of any hunger for the results of it.Most commentators of hindu texts, including Bhagavad Gita, are too busy with religious part of it,rejecting the physical part of this text, which,in fact,is even a stronger thing here.Instead of 10 numbers religious people tend to use as describing ANY thing around(others use TOO many numbers to ever believe their calculations),Gita tends to simplify this tendency even more as it puts the real difference among things very basic as 1 of 2 possibilities:1)numbers that are 1,3,5 and on and 2)numbers of 2,4,6 and so on.SUCH a simplicity i never saw neither in other hindu texts, nor in yet more basic judaist ones and this simplicity is 1 of the reasons i personally prefer this exact text of the Gita. This particular classic text of hinduism is not only 1 of the shortest yet most systematized ones, but it also tends to even further simplify things than other classically accepted religious hindu texts do.For most ANY human being the number of life variations he might ever choose in life is endless. And when most religious people would stop at having 10 possible variations of life situations(these are AS simple as 10 fingers upon one's hand),this Bhagavad Gita text goes ON with its developement and tells us already and simply purporting this that ''there are either 1,3,5...or 2,4,6 and other detalization is NOT necessary at all ...'';and,accordingly,no further calculations are necessary/needed.The very first text of the chapter 15 of the Gita contains a very important verse, which is approximately translated this way:''This world holds ever the anscient tree with its root upwards and its branches downwards. This amazingly strong and extensively large banyan tree(a very large indian tree with very extensive branches and roots)has also its roots going downwards and its branches growing upwards as well''.The text means here the human being as that tree(and other bodily systems as well)or what we people are;and besides us humans each and every organism as well like any animal or any tree is ALSO such an ''anscient ever existing tree'' the way the Gita purpots it to us.Here Gita tranfers to us the idea that any human being/not only human too actually is just another system of bodily organs and tissues, the way each organism is,including trees, animals, plants etc.A human being here is just another system of bodily organs and so is nothing else but a subject of the world and its imminent rules and no ''living soul that needs its own'',the way christian holy texts always purport to us their teachings. The text though claims that such a bodily system has 2 opposite by direction of movement internal parts in it;1 with detailed things in quantities and working with them ONLY(the brain)and the other the physical body with its aims physical ones only(our lower body);the 2 taking us people into completely different directions. And just as every creature/system of bodily organs upon this Earth planet around us is,we also are nothing but a small part of the entire planet. Here as well as inside of other hindu texts we have the direct denial of the christian idea about ''the ever existing no matter what soul''.As just another sort of a bodily system that inhabits this Earth planet we humans possess the very same characteristics each and every living organism of this planet has-strongest part the root(the brain for us),then somewhat weaker branches inbetween the earth and the air(the neck with its corresponding amazingly strong characteristics),and by the end the weakest ever smaller branches that ATTRACT silly PASSERS-BY with its colourful and tasty FRUITS like apples or grapes.Wiser people though always search for REAL profit givers, and these are no fruits or branches, but the root itself, which always holds WELL over 50 % of whichever bodily system is it the very centre;and we DO know from common medicine that the brain of a human being is indeed well over 50 % of any man himself.I found very similar passages also inside of the holy judaist texts;knowing those well enough to judge correctly(even as not AS much as hindu ones to it)that in this particularity the judaist texts hold this exactly same position of DENIAL of the existance of an individual soul and holding ALL of a human being as an integral, fully dependant upon the larger picture a man lives in,and undivided part of the entire creation of this planet. The interesting fact and difference of the judaist texts though from hindu ones is complete avoidance of ANY metaphors and colourful synonims that DO pertain hindu texts all too well;hindu texts make a point of showing their teachings through a system of pictures that show the truth in the best ways from MANY points of view with analogies and examples shown freely and in quantities;the truth judaist texts systemize inside is nothing but the very basic and extremely central central things;they shun colourful explanations believing those signs of weaker individuals, inside of the human body they name it simply speaking as the brains;no complicated metaphors or analogies ever used, the way all hindu texts are built averagely.Even as more consicely and exactly/directly explaining the truths, judaist texts lack the hinduist capacity to attract the student to THE truth better, and also show the truth from TOO many points of view to ever start doubting it.Hence i personally prefer the more widely and from TOO many sides to doubt them explained truths of hinduism.Other religions i personally find less influential and less up to the very point and truth.1 of the Gita texts reads that ''Always prefer things that at first bring you pain/displeasure and by the end already bring you pleasure and comforts of sorts and instead avoid things that at first are very tasty but by the end bring you bad condition and displeasures/sorrow''.Some of the words of holy texts and traditionally accepted as THE correct understandings of them arent correct AT ALL.Even i,NOT a strongly religious guy,DO know this for a certain fact, while religious people never do know this, using those incorrect details non stop to my own fun.The point here is to never overly indulge yourself into detailed study of the holy texts themselves;because if i DO know details THEY never know even as actively professing themselves as THE correct data holders, this means that MY life and behaviour is better/more correct than THEIR ones are!I am positive(in Gita this point is made exclusively clear)that detailed crazes over holy texts and personal overindulging into them are of no use and take 1 into a completely wrong life direction. When other holy texts never hold similar injections,Gita DOES,and in our contemporary world those can be MORE important and decisive than the brilliance and perfection older holy texts undoubtedly DO hold to them. THE TORTOISE VERSE The verse is describing a tortoise and its actions-AS soon as touched from outside, the animal simply disappears into its shell and refuses to leave it;the more the external touch is the less will the tortoise leave its shell and vice versa.I find actions of the tortoise very descriptive as it leaves the scene for AS much as the surrounding it scene tries to force itself upon it.Effective individual is capable of finding correct moment to leave this world for a better place,be it a book or a TV show,or whatever else;indeed though as they say about it "the charges apply" and 1 more very interesting detail people never mention about this situation is amazing slowness of the tortoise and the resulting from the capacity to keep to the shell only crazily slow pace the tortoise is capable of holding on to.People that wanna use specific powers/capacities like being vegetarian/vegan or eating all foods liquid or doing yoga in quantities or else such will be soon forced to choose between 2 pathways here:2)become perfectly capable the way the Gita tortoise is to HID IN ITS SHELL,whatever is the shell and SO use the profits of slow actions, only which are capable of giving gifts like yoga poses(they DO need time and work over)or vegan feeding etc.
