SARVANGASANA the shoulder stand
This pose the shoulderstand is supposed to be the 2nd most important/influential 1 of all the poses of yoga(the queen pose with the king pose headstand),the most important 1 being Shirshasana the headstand;at least this is how it is taken in most of books on yoga.As 1 is in Sarvangasana the main profiteers from it are not the brain, the way it is in headstands(with Jalandhara Bandha the chinlock it gets much less blood),but the upper human body torso and its critical for life organs like lungs, the heart etc.The brain is never getting AS much bloodflow in this pose as the chest does. The main influencing us instrument during these 2 poses is a completely different direction the blood is taking while circulating the body.Normally(in the standing position)it flows towards the legs with the power of gravitation and NOW in sarvangasana it suddenly starts to flow towards the head for a change, this exact change in the direction of the blood flow(a very basic and so very influential 1)making it such a prominent exercise. And indeed,on the lower level of this body what DOES count is nothing else but the internal blood circulation, its direction and blood pressure involved into it.Most of the smallest entities of this human organism the micro cells that compose each human organism are never exiting it and forever exist inside of it,never having any connection with the outsoide world beside the body itself. And if they notice anything at all down there it certainly is either the qualities of food, intaken by the body,or else the direction and the strenght of the internal blood flow.Topsy-turvy poses with the head down and legs up are doing this exact amazing change for a common cell, the change they are destined to notice ALL to nicely down there-the very sudden and amazingly differently influencing them CHANGE OF DIRECTION the BLOOD gets then.To make the pose 1)lay down face up in Shavasana the corpse pose, 2)raise your legs slowly upwards and then perform Halasana the plough pose(with your legs' toes touching the ground above and behind your head) and 3)after this, pulling the legs AS far above the head as you can while touching the ground, put your hands to your spine AS close to your head as you can and then raise your legs over into a preferrably correct vertical line.If performed correctly, your body then is in a straight vertical line and your chin is touching your breast bones(the so called chinlock or else Jalandhara Bandha as it is called in its sanskrit term). It is not necessary though to perform the pose 100 % correctly as its effect is reaped is smaller not too correct variations as well, just that with accordingly smaller effects.Hands supporting your spine must be possibly closer to the head all along;the best position(1 may not be able to get there as a novice though)in it is when the chinlock(Jalandhara Banndha as sanskrit designates it)completely blocks the blood approach to your brain because this pose is never meant to enrich the brain itself, but only the chest situated upper body principal parts. The profit this pose gives(you will feel in it that most of your legs' blood is exiting them towards the heart and your upper torso)is sudden very strong inflax of blood into the area of your upper torso, the breast and the head, even as chinlock prevents blood entrance into the brain quite well. Now,in that area are situated very important ductless glands(thyroid in particular, the shieldlike gland that protects the throat in its middle, producing some critical juices all along and more),which all are tasked with adding to blood special agents that can radically change the composition of your blood and so also the influence the blood is exerting over your entire body because those agents are very much principal, they eject into the blood agents that are able to change the composition of the blood radically, and can cause for instance one to become shorter by height in case they are well too abscent in it.The resulting massage of the neck area of your muscular system(and the neck is a very central part of it)much adds to ejected into the bloodstream special agents organs like thyroid produce. The pose is very relaxing for those who practise it for a considerable amount of time just that the wrists easily get tired of keeping the body straight in the vertical position non stop, holding most of the body weight.Your heart will get very nice relaxation and a better more peaceful time it needs too while you stand in the pose;in fact in each of king pose Shirshasana and this Queen pose sarvangasana your heart will get some temporary relaxation of its otherwise much stronger at normal conditions an activity. The significant release from life pressures your heart gets as you are in either Shirshasana or Sarvangasana is only compared to that when you sleep at night because the situations, where the heart isnt working pretty hardly are very rare;well practised at working non stop as it certainly is,the heart still needs some downtime or period, when its activity is somewhat slower. The influence upon the upper part of the lungs is also a strong 1.The heart itself, this very principal bodily part,is in a much better and preferred by it condition then and you will feel it right away as its actions/speed will be slowing down and becoming more stable and less neurotic in sarvangasana(in shirshasana too btw),suddenly stable and peaceful, remarkably reminding the pacified pace it has while you are well asleep.Just why the position with the head down and the legs up,this topsy-turvy 1,is our original healthy pose for better life, and adding of which is a much recommended thing.Your brain will ALSO experience a more peaceful/stable condition, just the way it goes with the heart. The generally much more sportive/nervous actions of your heart as you perform normal daily activities only prove the idea that our normal homelike condition is with our legs up and the head down, the way each Earth organism existed in during the days of yore, when the sun was small and the most intelligent creatures were dinosaurs. Our home form of an eartly creature we possessed once long ago is that of a plant(this furtherest from us by time predecessor of this very human organism). The truth is we still are formed and keep trying to exist around that very way each tree is formed even now-with our root the brain getting the most of what the entire organism gets from the outside, the rest getting simply less.Being in that anscient and normal for trees only condition of the root down and the branches upwards is exactly what topsy-turvy poses and Sarvangasana in particular CAN give us in quantities.Older condition though is 1 thing we not only definitely and desperately lack, but also would find greatest benefits from even now.Because as our main organism parts are situated above the rest of the body they would better be getting more of quality blood supply than other parts do and this is best accomplished by topsy-turvy poses of yoga.Other less principal body instruments ALSO profit immensely by performing Sarvangasana. It is best to exit EACH pose you perform during your yoga exercises' session ONLY after some body part had JUST NOW started to suffer/get exhausted from overexertion after doing this pose, and no earlier,as the longer you exert a body part the better condition is it aquiring with time flowing, and so try to stay in each of yoga poses for possibly longer, leaving it(always for Shavasana the corpse pose ONLY)as you feel tired of it and not before this.Masters of yoga always repeat that EACH pose has to be followed by this corpse pose even as some people(who are in a good enough condition for this)are indeed able to have 1 pose immidiately followed by another 1 without health complications arising out of this;this capacity to NOT stop for a break Shavasana gives you is a definite sign that your mastery over yoga is pretty considerable. For instance your heart,a VERY important internal bodily organ,is experiencing in topsy-turvy poses(those with your head down and your legs up)a sudden slowing down in its tempo of actions, revealing the REAL profit takers this pose does have-critically important to the organism in general organs like the heart, the lungs etc.And the heart is only the body part we CAN observe as getting profits as we can see it being in a worse or better a condition, other smaller yet also important body parts remaining with changes we simply cannot percieve;so as we see this heart profiting from a pose large scale we may know other parts get the very same improvement.Another interesting outcome i personally make out of this serious heart pacification during my topsy-turvy poses performed is that the REAL good life the heart finds ONLY in its position with the head down and the legs up because in topsy-turvy poses the heart always becomes acting more slowly, stably and peacefully with crazy overactive speeds of action that funnily tend to follow our strident lives suddenly evaporating into nothing-1 REAL proof that this pose IS an immense boon for your BOTH health and mental/intellectual equilibrium.Strong and effective a body part as it certainly is,the heart also needs a downtime, where it can relax additionally and get profits resulting from it.As i stand in heavier to accomplish topsy-turvy poses i sometimes suffer from overexposure of the heart to constant position with legs up and the head down;the position,in which my heart even starts to suffer from this position legs upwards;this situation IS possible as well-we human beings are WAY too long into our position with the legs down and the head up and SO do not possess the condition,in which we enjoy this topsy-turvy pose for TOO long, even as such ARE indeed are the best yoga poses to perform-the position with the legs up and the head down is what living creatures as our ancestors on this planet always had and so EXACTLY what we miss/need/would better regain back regardless of the society norms and rules;and lets face it rather than foolishly deny it-this society isnt at all always correct in its rules and demands towards a separate human being.Whichever norms does this society want fulfilled,OUR personal interests that make our productivity elsewhere YES possible exactly after our stuff finished well and correctly need to be fulfilled even before those. As our predecessors the most anscient creatures like trees and plants ALL exist in this condition with ends up and the centre down,we humans and other animals though are better adjusted to the position with the organism's centre up and its ends downwards;the 1,in which in fact our MOST principal organs are not only doing the best, but in fact even suffer somewhat all along. This best once position though HAD to be replaced with a suddenly more correct 1(head up legs down)as the Sun keeps stealing our Earth resources into its own kitchen by its gravitational power, which acts like a giant dusting machine, taking off any object whatever is it able to steal and becoming THE object number 1 all along with this, and so we already need to watch it even more than the Earth below. While being in this Sarvangasana pose(as while in other ones too btw)try to hold it in a stable no changes position for AS long a time amount as you comfortably can, only leaving the pose when well tired of it-your organs profit large scale from every minute you spend in such a pose!As when out of poses you will regain your profits, achieved normally, pretty quickly;they lower bodily parts though will keep lacking the rich blood supply dearly afterwards;and what kills 1 nowadays is no lack of brain foodies, but instead always failure of only 1 of too numerous smaller by size yet very critical for life bodily parts. The real profit you gain in the way of performing it is caused by disappearing suddenly then ABSCENCE OF rich BLOOD SUPPLY to your legs with your upper body parts like the brain itself, thyroid gland, lungs, the heart etc then suddenly getting much larger volumes of blood, the blood being in much higher atmospheric pressure all along and so adding energy supplies and taking out undesired here elements much better(a 100 times more so i'd roughly estimate)in this simple way;this abscence of richer blood supply though is the reason of faster tiring off of your precious organs as while doing Sarvangasana(other topsy-turvy poses too)those organs finally DO get a really rich blood inflax into them with the resulting blood pressure inside of them increasing REALLY dramatically and so with amazing effects for the health of your entire organism.I possess a certain electric charge to my fingertips;it reveals the GREAT internal CONDITION my NERVOUS CELLS(brain ones in particular)hold to them, the main reason for this i believe being a lot of time in these topsy-turvy poses each day that i keep practising.Another very real proof of the better condition 1 gets with topsy-turvy poses introduced daily is one's personal great condition of hairs upon the head with lack of any serious decrease of hairs throughout the head;and i imagine that the insides of my head get a much better condition from topsy-turvy poses all along as intracranial parts like brain simply HAVE to get close to 100 % of whichever blood supply increase gets up towards the body' head end.My fingers do possess a certain electric charge to them, which is capable of making my heart move faster once i touch the body with them. This excellent result is not only the result of correct feeding(i am vegetarian with all of food eaten pausterized only and never cooked for more than till it reaches 60 degrees Centigrade),but also because i am a very active user of yoga and especially the yogic topsy-turvy poses with the head down and the legs up,where the brain gets enlivened with rich blood quite a lot.Nor do i believe that i would be having any serious heart conditions even with time flowing/becoming much older as i not only do topsy-turvy poses a lot,but also practise the heart muscle(and its importance is MUCH larger than arms muscles hold to them)developing yogic pranayama exercises a lot too.To add what this body lacks badly though(and this is high pressure containing rich blood supply to one's upper body parts and the brain itself in this case),even as for a VERY short amount of time,is an immense profit 1 must always strive to achieve.Because whatever are you excessively rich at/in presently of life desires, only adding of what you LACK/never have around currently to this condition will make you indeed a much better off a person and 1 HAS to strive to fill his internal bodily mechanisms with whatever do they NOT possess at this particular moment rather than adding more and more of whatever is it you ARE rich with anyways even now;however remote and complicated does this truth sound,it is 100 % correct and would better be followed simply for better results of one's life.I am positive that well over 90 % of blood/heart disorders and things like heart attacks, brain insults etc would disappear and never find people if only those people DID spend some time in these topsy-turvy(legs up head down ones)poses sometimes.Just imagine how exactly badly would you be feeling if devoid of watching your favourite TV shows and programmes on a daily basis for only 1 single day;this exact state your body is having even now as it does NOT get rich enough blood supply to critical bodily organs as watching TV is actually nothing more than increasing blood supply to your brain.Brain HAS to get what is its own(TV shows, books, music etc)though, theres no mistake with THIS idea;but so also must GET THEIRS other body parts just as well, and this includes numerous components of food we never add to the body(specific vitamins and other food components),exercises the body parts indeed DO need to function well enough etc. Most times, busy otherwise,we do not add to the body its NEEDS,but adding those simply make our lives better with time and more successful too. What TV does in general is THAT simply as activizing the brain with rich blood supply to it following suit;thats EXACTLY what happens as you stand in important topsy-turvy yogic poses with your lower, and also pretty critical for life, bodily parts like the heart, lungs etc;but in this case it happens NOT with the brain, but with other(important in ways AS well)internal bodily organs, correct action/work of which is principally necessary for your internal health,JUST the way the work of your brain(SO much enriched as watching TV)is seriously improved and strenghtened then.As we CAN feel the improvement our brains or heart get when we are with the head down and our legs upwards we still never can feel the very similar improvements other less principal lower body parts achieve in this way too;and this fact is exactly the explanation of why is Sarvangasana believed to be the second most important yoga pose even as we never associate it with much profits from yoga. And just to boost the condition of your other organs we must add some yoga(or at least workouts in general)to each and every of our normal days-exercises do what other things fail to,and this is radical BLOOD PRESSURE INCREASE.The recipee,THIS simple as it is(all the best things in life are, indeed, exclusively simple),is capable of leaving us MUCH healthier with no serious health conditions for a much longer period of time;the time we would be spending here feeling great and never visiting any medical institutions(at my age of 51 in 2023 i am proud that i am never any visitor to any medical instituations and am looking exceptionally well for this age all along);the aim, well worth the time you spend to reach it.What we the brains never even notice as yes happening around is STILL very much around and YES influential in many ways for the human organism in general;this Sarvangasana pose being 1 of more prominent examples of it.And while other than yoga workouts work with less important sides of health(most times these are muscles' developement),yoga hits big scale THE most important and influential organism's sides, those 1 almost never notices or even hears about, and i mean here the critical for our lives indeed internal organs like the brain, the liver, lungs, especially glands homeostatic processes that produce principal for the interior internal juices like adrenalin, neural agents that circulate inside of the brain only etc.Workouts as the general rule work with muscles;yoga takes a specific internal organ(any pose works with mostly a particular 1),adds to it blood in rich quantities and with high blood pressure applied makes your INTERNAL condition a much better 1,and internal organs ARE much more important and influential for every human organism a.k.a. as a single man/woman as they build you inside, and insides of yours are MUCH more important life's parts than ANY outsides, muscles and TV etc included. And once you start percieving life items the way you did once, when you were say 20 years old,you know you DID achieve the real profit.Sarvangasana's main profiteers are internal principally important glands and organs like heart, liver, lungs etc.Lately i use it for only short times because otherwise all the just mentioned organs even start aching out of extreme exhaustion in me;this pose effect is reminding what extensively flocked with vitamins/minerals like mushrooms give me lately even as once they were just great for my health-dull aches of overexerted specialized organs like liver, kidneys etc.Shoulderstand is just great for waking these up;but these specialized organs are already extensively at work as all the food i eat comes in liquid form, and liquid food brings extensive work over it by internal bodily systems;my feelings(these are great informators by now)show me that both shoulderstand and quantities of vitamins/minerals overexert my specialized organs.Thats just why i most times avoid Sarvangasana the shoulderstand as this Queen Of Poses is busy exactly with activizing internal glands that stream into the blood things, all too specific, while these are already well supported by eating all liquid;feelings telling me this information while no other sources(yoga/health books included)even mention its existance.Thats to the topic of why exactly large sensitivity IS a recommendable thing to possess.
